Jean Touitou graduated from the Sorbonne in Paris with a history degree and no intention of becoming a fashion designer. Entirely by accident, he landed his first job with Kenzo, followed by gigs at agnès b and Irie before deciding to go his own way in 1987 with the launch of A.P.C.
